Hi, I figured out how to get this scanner to work in Vista 64 about a year ago and have now got it working in Windows 7 x64. So in case you didn't see my Vista post i thought I'd post it in here also. It uses the Canoscan LiDE 60 scanner 64bit driver: Files required:,. Or Use, right click the file and select Extract to Open the folder it creates 'ide60vst6411111a_64en' Inside the folder you'll find SetupSG.exe, extract it the same way again and you will find the driver Go to your Device Manager (right click Computer - select Manage) Plug in the scanner so you can see it pop up in the Device Manager Right click it, Update / Install driver Select Browse my computer for driver then Let me pick from a list of drivers, just select 'All' then click OK Select Have Disk then Browse and select the CNQL60.INF file inside the SetupSG folder. It will say that it isnt the correct driver and may not work. But its lying ~ CanoScan Toolbox ~ If you do not install this it won't work. Canon Lide 20 Scanner Driver For Windows 7 32 BitI use version 4.9 which can be found If you get the ' Unable to select TWAIN source' error then try Install was the CanoScan Toolbox, it will ask you to reboot, do so and you're done Just thought id make this a bit clearer. I felt obliged to subscribe just so i could congratulate you for your effort doesn't just work, the software is better than the version i had been using on xp between this and the chaintech soundcard porting through the wolfson dacs i have overcome 2 major impediments discouraging me from 'upgrading' to win 7 for quite some time a severe pox upon canon for knackering their own hardware by pretending they don't have a solution; it's a pity they make quite nice equipment, or i could shun them completely three cheers for scoutfu!!! My sincere thanks. I'm a graphic designer (who uses a PC!!! OMG!!!) and I've been living without my scanner since I (finally) upgraded to Windows 7 64 bit from XP a few months ago.
